Powerful Botanicals

Hawthorn, an edible berry-like fruit from trees of the Crataegus species, is known throughout many parts of the world to help maintain healthy lipid levels. A review of the scientific literature on Hawthorn suggests that its cardiovascular benefits also include support for healthy blood flow and that it promotes increased antioxidant activity.

The root of Chinese Salvia (Salvia miltiorrhiza) is also widely used in Asia to promote healthy blood flow and overcome what is referred to as blood stagnation in traditional Asian medicine. Research shows that an active component in this herb helps maintain healthy blood circulation.
